The Art of Being a Kardashian: "We Work 25 Hours a Day!"

Don't be fooled--it's not easy being a Kardashian. If they're not filming one of their many reality shows, they're traveling the country promoting endorsed brands, their own products and of course the family.

They own three successful clothing boutiques, have the highest rated TV show on E!, and a variety of Kardashian approved products. So why do people still go up to the girls and ask, "What is it you do again?"

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we know that Kardashian family banked $65 million dollars last year. And you don't get that kind of money without working your ass off. And in the new issue of Redbook Magazine, the girls confess on a typical day they "work 25 hours a day."

"It's annoying when I hear, 'What do your girls do?' Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show," matriarch Kris Jenner tells the May issue of Redbook.

And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that's a huge misconception that the girls don't work. They work 25 hours a day."

And for all the haters and critics out there, Kris isn't afraid to speak her mind. "They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show," Jenner says. "Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. How many shows do you have?"

Most of the girls Kim Kardashian grew up with have at some point gotten a DUI or gotten busted with drugs, something she vows won't happen with her. "There's nothing I'm really ashamed of, and I work hard on the show and all my other projects," she tells the mag. "I don't drink or do drugs, so I'm comfortable showing the world what my life is all about."

Whether you love them or hate them, there's no denying that everyone wants to be a Kardashian. And with a combined family income of $65 mil, most people would kill to be apart of the Klan. Maybe Lindsay should consider hiring Mama Jenner--just a thought
